Connors and Company was established in 2014 by Shane Connors, following the acquisition of the O’ Neill Foley practice in Waterford.
The firm has almost a forty year history in Waterford and has developed an extensive client base across many sectors, both locally and nationally.
Martin Hill joined as partner in 2015 and the firm has enjoyed significant expansion in recent years.
The firm's Kilkenny office opened in 2019 to meet the growing needs for our services within the south east.

Shane Connors
Corporate Finance & Recovery Manager
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a first-class honours MBA degree. Shane has over 20 years’ experience of working in and advising Irish SME’s and has also lived in Eastern Europe where he worked for an international commodity trading company. Shane has also held senior management roles within industry, where he managed assets of more than €250m.
Shane has extensive experience across many sectors including retail pharmaceuticals, wholesale distribution, agriculture, technology, construction, plant hire, professional services, and internationally traded goods. His unique experience gained in corporate finance and especially in mergers and acquisitions makes him an expert in this area, and one of the most sought-after professionals in this field based in the South East.

Martin Hill
Audit & Compliance Partner
Martin is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over thirty years’ experience of advising SME’s for clients ranging from start-ups to established businesses. Martin has extensive experience across many diverse business sectors including credit unions, retail pharmacy, construction, professional services, retail, and property management.
As is our firm, Martin is forward thinking and innovative and, in its infancy, championed the use of cloud based accounting which has brought greater efficiencies to both clients and the practice.
